From its humble beginnings in 1975, with 7 employees operating from a small rented premise, the firm has slowly reached its present state of success, along with a wholly owned factory premises.During the recession in the mid 90's, owing to its commitment to quality, Precision Components began exporting to Japan to one of the then largest companies in the world, Mitsubishi heavy industries. During April, 2005, the company executed its first order to Europe (Supplying shafts to a motor manufacturing company in France)and later to a pump manufacturing company in Canada. Even though the progress was slow, the firm gradually increased its export turnover to about USD$ 1.4 million in 2007-2008.

In the present days, with rapid advancements in industry and technology, Precision Components has run a neck-breaking race with its competitors and has earned an enviable reputation among manufacturers, suppliers and exporters of Machined & Ground components and shafts. This is largely due to constant modernisation and continues improvement in various processes involved in manufacturing.

The vision of the company, which comprises of two partners, is to expand the horizons of its export market, while at the same time being faithful to its customers in the domestic market.
